Join Us for Charity Walk 2025
Itʻs that time again for the Honolulu Visitor Industry Charity Walk 2025! Please join Family Programs Hawaii as we walk, eat, enjoy entertainment and fellowship on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025.
Come join our Ohana, EAT & EXERCISE for a good cause. The 2025 Oahu’s Visitor Industry Charity Walk will be held on Saturday, May 3, starting at Ala Moana Beach Park! Please start sharing with your FRAMILY (friends & family), the more the merrier!
We are so grateful for helping us win the #3 “FUN”raiser last year in 2024 for our Inaugural Walk. So, this year, we are set to break our own record raising very important funding for our youth and families in the foster care community. Together, we can do this!
We are excited to see everyone again -BRIGHT & EARLY- for another successful morning. We are GOING GREEN in 2025 -so grab those bright green tutus, rock those socks, & wear those Holiday Party chartreuse green shirts if you received one.
We know it is early, but please meet us from 6:00am – 7:00am at the Magic Island on the right-hand side of the parking lot by the bathrooms. We will have a tent and banner for a Morning Madness Group Photo, before we hit the trail.
Breakfast is provided, so come in time to eat and pick up your wristbands.

WALK
We are looking for groups, families, businesses, and anyone willing to walk for Family Programs Hawaii. All you need to do is sign up, pay the registration fee, and have a fun filled time on May 3rd. Reserve your tickets today: Adults $50, Youth $25
VOLUNTEER
If you arenʻt into walking and eating, or registration fees, you can still participate by volunteering your time on May 3rd. Your valuable time counts toward our ability to receive much needed funding from the proceeds of the walk. More info coming on how to register as a volunteer.

About The Charity Walk
The Charity Walk, founded in 1974 and expanded statewide in 1978, is now Hawai‘i’s largest single-day fundraising event by a non-profit organization. Since its inception, more than $43 million has been raised to support hundreds of local charities throughout the state. Spearheaded by the Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Association and its non-profit arm Hawaii Hotel Industry Foundation, the Charity Walk is traditionally held on Hawai‘i, Kaua‘i, Lana‘i, Maui, Moloka‘i, and O‘ahu. Money raised on each island or county stays there.
We Need Your Help!
Here are a few ways you can help Family Programs Hawaii for the Charity Walk. We are in need of 40 participants to qualify as a grant recipient. All proceeds from the walk go to qualifying nonprofits (those with 40 walkers or volunteers who sign up under Family Programs Hawaii).
