Camp Connection 2023 was a 3-day and 2-night event held at Camp Mokuleia from June 30 to July 2. This year’s camp provided an enjoyable environment for the youth to bond and spend time with their siblings. Campers enjoyed activities that included kayaking and stand-up paddleboard at the beach, lei-making, pool, campfire, and zip-lining. In preparation for camp, an Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED-BLS training was offered to Project Visitation staff and volunteers in which 10 individuals completed. On the last day of camp, campers received pictures of themselves with their sibling groups which were taken during camp activities.
