As a follow-up to 7-11’s Support of Foster Care Month which occurred in May, President & CEO of 7-11 Hawaii presented a check to Keith Kuboyama, VP of Programs & Clinical Services, and Connie Sizemore, Director of Development & Communication of Family Programs Hawaii for $9,027. Donations were raised through their Fundraising Canister Campaign at 7-11 locations throughout the state.
May 1, 2015 – 7-Eleven is promoting National Foster Care Month in May by donating the proceeds of its Canister Change Program to Family Programs Hawaii. Throughout the month of May, all donations made at any 7- Eleven convenience stores in Hawaii will support Family Programs Hawaii’s mission of serving children and families in the foster care system. Family Programs Hawaii is dedicated to providing services to prevent children from entering foster care, supporting children and families already involved in the foster care system, and assisting youth transitioning out of foster care.
“We are so grateful to partner with 7-Eleven Hawaii in supporting our children in the foster care system,” said President and CEO, Paulette Bethel. “We hope you will join us in participating in this fundraiser by patronizing your neighborhood 7-Eleven store and adding your change to the canister,” added Bethel.
