Voluntary Case Management
A preventive effort to support youth and families so they do not become involved in the Child Welfare System. The goal is to create a safe and healthy home for children by preserving family strengths and decreasing family stress.
Eligibility: Families are referred from the Department of Human Services Child Welfare Services after an initial assessment of a report of abuse or neglect determines that the children involved are at “moderate risk.” Families are then asked to voluntarily accept services to prevent investigation and court involvement.
