A new receiving home for children removed from their families for report of abuse or neglect on the Leeward Coast.
Enhancements
Provides funding for foster children for items and activities not covered under regular foster care support, including tutors, special events, graduation expenses, etc. Funds provided through Victoria S. & Bradley L. Geist Foundation and the Teresa F. Hughes Trust Estate.
Events
Fun for foster children and their families through the Summer Picnic, Holiday Party and other events.
Voluntary Case Management
Program for families reported for abuse or neglect to help them create a safe home through support and counseling.
Resource Families Support Services (Hui Ho‘omalu)
Statewide support services including parent groups, Warm Line, training and mentoring.
Long Term Foster Care
Quality long term foster care support for youth for whom this is the best permanency option. Includes support to foster families and post high school assistance.
Respite Program
Provides families a break from the ongoing responsibilities of parenting children in out of home care.
Hawaii Attach Resource Connection
Community members provide yearly training conferences for parents and professionals on Attachment issues.
Project Visitation
A program that utilizes volunteers to provide monthly visitation for siblings separated by the foster care system.
eXcel
Helping high school foster youth successfully prepare for and enter post-secondary education and vocational training.
Ho‘ololi Mua No Ke Ola Senior Program
Prepares high school seniors in foster care in East Hawai‘i to enter postsecondary education or vocational training.
