There are many ways you can positively impact the life of a child in foster care in Hawai‘i. Your gift will allow FPH to continue to provide the vital support and services to foster youth and their families throughout the state. Become a sponsor of our Annual Holiday Party or Summer Picnic

Sponsor a table for families to attend our Holiday Party, underwrite expenses for our Summer Picnic, or make an unrestricted sponsorship donation for one of our events.

Contribute through Aloha United Way or the Combined Federal Campaign

If your workplace participates in the Aloha United Way Campaign, pledge your donation ($48 or more) to Family Programs Hawai‘i. Our designation code is #73690. State and Federal workers may give to Family Programs Hawai‘i through the Combined Federal Campaign. Our designation code is #49783.

Donate goods or professional services

Gifts of new toys, household items, office equipment, and other goods and professional services can be valuable gifts and have tax advantages.

Give securities such as stocks and bonds

Marketable securities are a valuable gift and save you the taxable portion of the capital gains. Contact your broker or commercial banker to authorize the transfer of the securities. You can then send or fax (808-533-1018) a copy of the stock transfer authorization form to FPH.

Recognize or remember someone special in your life through a Memoriam or Tribute Gift.

A planned gift is a lasting contribution through a charitable bequest in your will, a gift of real estate, or a gift designating FPH the beneficiary or owner of your life insurance policy.

Purchase a brick or sponsor a room at Ho`omalu O Na Kamali`i

Our receiving home provides two unique opportunities to support children during a most vulnerable time in their lives. Purchase a brick for $200 and inscribe it with a message or your name, or in honor of someone you love. For a larger and more meaningful gift, consider sponsoring a bedroom for $10,000 and we’ll place a plaque in your honor outside the door.

Buy a Brick

Building a brighter future for Hawai‘i’s children “One Brick at a Time”.

This campaign helps raise funds to operate Ho`omalu O Na Kamali`i and provide shelter and safety for children in need. Your brick can be inscribed with your name, logo, or message or name a brick in honor of a loved one. For more information click on brick brochure. Inside you will find information on purchasing a brick, sponsorship of one of the rooms in the home and a wish list of needed items.
